Our vision is to bring a fine offering of quality millwork products to discriminating buyers.
Our careers in supplying construction material and millwork spans over 30 years. We are three individuals two of whom grew up in lumber yard and millwork supply firms. Working as children, albeit reluctantly at times, as teenagers and as career professionals at the completion of our formal education. In just that period radical changes have occurred in building regulations and practices. It was disappointing as the years passed to see the construction of homeowners dreams being encased with artificial product saturated with architectural flaws and compromises.
The beauty, durability and flexibility of wood millwork is simply not attainable with synthetic resins, pvc, steel and fiberglass.
Just in the last 10 to 12 years a surge in the use of non-wood products, especially in doors and windows, has been staggering. Clearly, we felt a loss as the texture, character and even aroma of natures wood was disappearing from our modern dwellings. We felt compelled to exclusively offer and provide high quality millwork products as we are inspired to infuse the product, service and value into fine millwork to insure the position of fine millwork in modern construction.. We wanted to make this our only business and not just a sideline offering to other commodity building materials. Our vision was that we would provide hassle free expertise and personalized products which had been relegated to obscure, high priced options from other industry suppliers.
Our passion is in providing unique, warm and creative wood entry systems and other select
millwork products. It is the baseline for all the services and selections we offer.
Collectively, each of us at M4L, Inc has an appreciation for nature and our environment. In everything we do, we ensure that both ourselves and our suppliers use our resources responsibly and respectfully. As the son of a forester, our third partner grew up learning and practicing good forestry principles. For seasonal income, he and his brother were trained and employed by the state of Virginia to fight forest fires. As reforestation has been aggressively practiced since World War II, there is no more environmentally friendly choice than wood for construction for our earth.
Our custom products are fabricated exclusively in the United States and Canada.
Our passion is to educate our clients on the lasting value of these beautiful products. We want to assist each customer in finding the door or millwork item that graces their residence or structure with the uniqueness and texture that supports the individuality of each of our customers. In doing so, we strive to provide our products and services at surprising value. A low price is not our goal, but, rather, we strive to provide a robust product for a fair price.
No other product is as renewable and recyclable as wood.

We attempt to offer a relaxed shopping experience and only implement polices and practices that insure our customers and company the least chance for loss in order that we keep our operating costs low and our value offering high.
